1. The Executive Order No. 183, issued on June 5, 1987, repeals Presidential Decree No. 1110-A, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 1743.

2. The repealed decree provided for and penalized the crime of Lese Majeste.

3. The crime of Lese Majeste is deemed to have no place in a democratic society.
