naval, China wins easily just by overwhelming numbers…but in the jungle and mountains, its not gonna be easy for the PLA…even though they dont need to send soldiers to the islands, a naval blockade is enough to starve out the population in Luzon…air superiority will also be on the chinese side. then there is the rocket force which gonna level any vital infrastuctre in the first weeks, which makes it hell for the already inept filipino goverment to do crisis management…China cant divert to much rescource against the Philippines, if they still gonna plan to invade Taiwan though… but as the underdog, we dont have much to lose. no one expects us to win anything…one thing which plays for the Philippines are sanctions and embargos put on China by their most important trading partners like EU, Japan and the US. They only can turn to Russia, Iran and North Korea who are weakend by such already. so militarly they win, but will they recover economicly is a different story. and secondly…the Philippines dont have to stand alone, which is for China more likely the case.
