geographic challenges-delhi ncr region is particularly vulenerable to air pollution due to sesonal wind pattern,industrial activity,vehicular pollution,
stuble buring ,constructional activity,are the major causes for pollution
health imapct-it causes respiratory illness,cardio vascular diseses and premature death,it also rduces visibility and affecting daily life and productivity
role of central goverment-governments bring plicies in order to tackle the air pollution
provide incentives to farmer collecting stuble and used as feeder for biofuel
delhi government must invest in sustainable urban planning,encouaging use of public transport,
upgrading the city infrastructure to manage traffic congestion.efforts such as extending thedelhi metro delhi metro network and promoting electric vehicle are steps in the right direction
conclusion
To combat air pollution in Delhi-NCR, the center and state governments must collaborate closely, setting aside political differences for the common good. A comprehensive strategy that includes regulatory enforcement, public participation, technological innovation, and regional cooperation is crucial to improving air quality. The health and well-being of millions of people depend on effective and timely action.
