To start out off his working go to to Thailand, Secretary-Basic of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this morning met with Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Thailand H.E. Police Colonel Tawee Sodsong. Minister Sodsong was accompanied by representatives from the Nationwide Safety Council, the Southern Border Provinces Administration Centre and the Inside Safety Operations Command Area 4. Their discussions centered on Thailand’s proactive position within the ASEAN legislation enforcement and justice sector underneath the ASEAN Ministerial Assembly on Transnational Crime (AMMTC), the ASEAN Ministerial Assembly on Drug Issues (AMMD) and the ASEAN Legislation Ministers’ Assembly (ALAWMM). The assembly underscored Thailand’s dedication to a safer and extra resilient ASEAN area by way of sustained cooperation and coordinated motion.
