Great acting and sadness of war.
My grandfather, on my Mother's side in Lodz Poland,
then under Russia, was in the
Cavalry in the Russo-Japanese
War in 1904-05, then in 1905
the family moved to Zurich,
Switzerland, my Mother was
born there in 1910.
When my parents later went to
London, UK, and I was born in
London in 1944.
My Uncle, on my Mother's side
was Jewish, had her Brother,
Bernhard, taken by the Nazi's
from Paris, France in 1940.😮
People tell me, I look and sound like John Malkovich,
though I am older at 80, and
a 100% Disabled Veteran of
over 50 years ago. 😊

Has anybody else noticed that every ad and commercial on YouTube is all black people, wtf is going on
4 million soviet POWs were starved to death by the German army, not the SS the army!, on the orders of army generals, the actual death rate of Germans in soviet hands was actually quite low, the ones from Stalingrad were high because they were all nearly dead when they surrendered, do a movie about soviet POWs or anyone in the hands of the Japanese and do not expect any sympathy for these war criminals.

This ending was so sad. This PROVES that no one wins in war.
Sick of watching films inluding fiction, non fiction and documentaries with blurred out picture footage especially a love scene. Just unnecessary and stupid.

Denigrates Russian women soldiers depicted as incompetent to run Nazi POW camp. inaccurate to show doctor in love with Nazi war criminal. No sympathy for silly giggly young girl.. but story is outrageous to portray Nazi genocidal murderers as tender lovers.

Does anyone know this film’s actual name? I can’t find it anywhere and I want to download it so I can actually watch it without this ludicrous censorship. Matters to do with the horrors of war should never be censored or blurred.
