Edit out any copyrighted music. If you use copyrighted music, it doesn't just mean the video will not get monetized, it can keep the channel from getting monetized. If you get a copyright strike, you get a warning, the video is removed, and you're not able to upload any videos for a week. The second strike the penalties are worse. If you get three strikes, it's game over. Your channel is terminated and all your videos are removed. And you can't create new channels.
