A long time since I've been on a train yours looked so relaxed and lovely scenery. While you were saying you took the flag and fixed and returned it I once climbed over our neighbours fence with a hockey stick and raided the apple tree and I didn't return them😅 discovered they were cooking apples so left them under Tina's bed lol I was only 11😂. Good on you walking all that way😊

I would think the train was smooth cos of the Chinese financing of the railway construction but impressive ,looks a nice comfortable journey
What I'm surprised of is the amount of land not being used ,looks to me a lot of scrub waste land but what do I know ,coming from London
I walk about 4 miles every day with the dogs but 10 ,at later in the day ,no thanks . Tell any local in SE Asia and they would think you barmy

Not many men could walk 15 miles, and not because they are not strong enough. Its because their feet could not walk that far without excruciating blisters.

Walk up four floors at sunset and video the sunset at the Bor Pen Nyang bar, one of the best views over the river towards the sunset.
You do not have to buy a BeerLao but you should, just once before the bar vanishes.
