Many ppl did not realise, it is not that Buakaw has gotten old, that is why he is "super slow" in this fight. He was just holding back more than 50% of his attack speed. Can see clearly the opening in the china guy, but Buakaw just went in and tap his face and did not even follow up. Lol.
I'm sure he was invited by China to "perform" with their own athelete, and most likely told to hold back and not beat their contendor. At the introduction, you can see Buakaw profile, champion of so many different fights (2 time k1 champ, 2 division omnoi champ, 4 times WMC champ).. but when they show Wenbao profile, he is mostly just runner up and tournament winner.. That tells you a lot from the pair up.
So I am sure Buakaw just pay respect to the organisers and ppl of China for being invited and celebrated. I am sure, Wenbao will be well respected after this bout too, being able to fight a champ like Buakaw.
