As common this can be a non exhaustive listing, however hopefully offers you a really feel for the place I’ve pulled data from; I’ve used Wikipedia articles to present you a really feel for what occurred when, however there is no such thing as a substitute for really sitting and studying a number of the supply supplies, so I’d advocate the Offline part for these significantly within the topics lined.

SNAGGING
I am not a pro, so I do make mistakes and the ones I've made here that I know about are
i) The British had lost the Battle of Isandlwana in 1879, but won the war against the Zulus. The Italians lost the Battle of Adwa in 1896 and then lost the war being forceably ejected from Abyssinia
ii) Churchill was the First Lord of the Admiralty (political appointment) not First Sea Lord (highest ranking officer in the Navy)
iii) I have once again labeled 7th Armourded Brigade as a Division because I am a moron
iv) I inexplicably failed to include Peaky Blinders in the Birmingham montage.
v) After Italy's Unification in 1861, the national anthem was changed to 'Marcia Reale' (Royal March). After the Second World War it became 'Il Canto degli Italiani'. The Fascists used "Giovinezza" (Youth) which was the defacto anthem during Benitto's regieme. So I played the wrong one.
12:10: Meaning Imperial Japan’s generals saw their troops as a dime a dozen at best and cannon fodder at worst.
Yeah I missed this one!!! Thanks for the heads up 😂

Thank you
I worked with a man who was captured in Singapore, sent to Changi then onto the railways. One thing he told me which was strange was the Japanese guards were Korean. They were generally sadists who, it seems spent their time devising increasingly barbaric and humiliating ways to maim, torture and kill. He was an insulation engineer in Civvy Street and four of his five brothers died from Asbestosis, Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma. He died about ten years ago.
After last vid where instructions were unclear, I have walked from Norfolk for 9 days
Hi nice I like the music at the start
When you do do Gallipoli, I can recommend a mention for the monitor M33 in Portsmouth. She survived the war, and all the other punch-ups that followed. The poor thing sits in the shadow of Victory and is much overlooked.
"Bruhaha"?
Thanks! For the Scots orphans fund.
Another fine video thanks m’Lord. I rather enjoy the swearing and the humour. How else can a sensitive soul, such as myself, cope with the horrors that you describe here.
This certainly makes Rommel's North Afrika campaign look positively competent.
In this regard Churchill and High Command were slack sphincters.
Please don't change your style: I love it, and so do the vast majority of people who tune in.
Astoundingly excellent. So far this is a wonderfully entertaining extravaganza. Forwarding to interested parties sure they will thoroughly enjoy!!!!! 10/10.
This one slipped by me, but fortunately, the premiere for the next video in the series reminded me of my obligations to Lord Hardthrasher.
Once again my sincere thanks your Lordship! I am thoroughly looking forward to the next episode! With regards from an Aussie fan!
P.S. I thoroughly agree with your advice 'Don't fuck with a Gurkha!".
It would be really interesting to see how you would present the Gallipoli campaign.
I think the British pre 1942 were too busy drinking tea (and stronger spirits like gin) and slagging off their Indian servants in a very racist way to be any way organized to fight anything stronger than a disorderly boy scout troop (Baden-Powell would have felt at home with the white supremacy racism of India). Initially, with their own century (and a half) of humiliation at the hands of the British Raj, Indians initially quietly hoped that the Japanese would win (Subhas Chandra Bose wasn't even quiet about that). When it was clear that the Japanese army were indistinguishable from the worst of Ghengis Khan's hordes, then it was finally decided to do something about it and Ghandi agreed to tone it down until the Japanese were pushed back from India's borders.
Just ordered my green shirt. I need you on me
Upon taking your closing advice, I am covered in welts and my housemaster is disciplining the entire upper 6th. God bless you.
