China’s EV big, BYD, makes extra electrical autos than any of its opponents and sells them for as little as $10,000. The automobiles should not but bought within the U.S., the place hurdles embrace a 25% import tariff. In the meantime, U.S. lawmakers are involved that good automobile know-how might be used to spy on American drivers. NBC Information’ Janis Mackey Frayer stories.

BYD = Buy Your Death. I wouldn't be caught dead in a chinese-made vehicle, especially an EV.
❤ Are they okay for Australia??
No Trade restrictions
Telsa and GM are built in China anyway
Lol i just tried to look on their website next thing I know i get a 402 on the website usa just want us to make the rich richer instead of actually enjoying our freedom
If a car can break in and snoop our electronic national security we are in deeper doo doo than I thought. Fire everybody in Washingon DC and hire some younger people who REALLY know what they are doing. Maybe also feed the 13 MILLION American kids that are starving.
possible if the labour costs nothing and there is not much developement cost (just copied)
No reason to import Chinese vehicles. If we import vehicles it will take up to much of the import / or export trade meaning we would have to give something up, in exchange due to a massive imbalance. In trade. The primary target is material costs. China can sell it's materials cheap. Everyone can build faster and cheaper, with ev credits. Elon would not need to do much for work force to increase production four fold. At 1 million a year, and same in Germany. China, has cheap. Goods, aka resources, and it's proving it with the cars. Send us the steel, a s we will be fine, at the quarter is the cost . Would not impact our balance of trade. But yeah, send us the resource, since it's so cheap.
What filter did the photographer use? It made the sky look like the underworld. And the color of people's lips turned dark brown.
It won't last forever. People will drive other-than-gas powered cars regardless who likes it.
These comments… did nobody watch the actual video? 😭😭
Are these cheap chinese cars even durable?
No thanks 🙂↔️
I just wonder what happens in case of serious crash and how good are those cars considering other chinese products that had toxic chemicals in many materials?
Interestingly, all exterior scenes look like the sky is dark and the air is murky. Even indoors, it's so dark. Thank you Western media for the filter. From China❤
Can't wait to see these cars go for 30k once it arrives
Mexico might be electricified before USA
BYD = Buy Your Death
Are lithium batteries any less dangerous in these cars.
byd is trash. dont be a victim.
EV is dead over here
We need China to make standard of living affordable else everything will be expensive
A new car at $10,000? I'm going Chinese.
Why is it so hard for westerners to understand China? China's government does not "unfairly" subsidize car manufacturers, China's government has a mandate to support all manufacturing in China. As opposed to the United States who unfairly and unconstitutionally bailed out General Motors and Chrysler to support the UAW. What was the "national interest" to bailout domestic auto manufacturers when half of American citizens are buying made foreign cars? What is the national interest to put 100% tariff on EVs from China while also mandating that people buy electric cars? Why go to war with China just because they have a better idea? Maybe the US government should be less concerned with the next election, ESG, DEI, gender and George Floyd and more concerned about competing in a global economy.
Joe won't let us buy it.
Western Auto makers will never catch up because they don't want to They want everybody else to charge as much as them
so why do we pay 50K for one.?
Do you know Chinese EV car can be remote lock-down by the car-maker company?

I'll be waiting for BYD
They are concerned about China spying on Americans, but they totally ignore the real threat, which is the Zionists. These individuals have infiltrated Congress and even U.S. tech companies. They have bought the majority of politicians and are taking money from U.S. taxpayers in broad daylight. You should be more worried about the Zionists than the Chinese. It's pretty obvious.
Well who wants to pay 90 grand for a ev half ton?
1:49 The sky don't lie.
High-end EVs made by BYD cost around 20k USD, still very competitive in terms of price. The interiors of high-end BYD is so much luxurious than Tesla.
China's socialist economy actually has some benefits like these. They pay their auto workers a decent wage, nationalize some materials needed, and nationalize the process to keep prices low for their consumers AND the world.
Isn't it the same anchor who complains about chinese jetfighter in china's airspace?. Very bias and " nationalistic " as Trump would say.
There’s a reason BYD are selling EV’s for $10,000. They’re cheap n nasty.
When China let western car companies in China, they had to partner with a local firm. It was a way to transfer technology and know how to China. It was a condition. No different from a tariff. Now that Chinese automakers have reached a point where they can be competitive on their own, they want free access to all markets. Hm. No.
