China-Malaysia railway formally opened, finishing the Pan-Asia Central Line aside from Singapore. The railway, a part of China’s “One Belt, One Highway” initiative, spans 688 kilometers from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur. It adopts China Railway’s requirements, enhancing Malaysia’s transportation capability and fostering nearer China-Malaysia cooperation. The undertaking obtained US$5.5 billion funding and signifies a significant achievement underneath the initiative. The Pan-Asian Railway, together with the China-Laos-Thailand and Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand railways, facilitates commerce and journey throughout the area. The railway advantages China’s railway business growth and strengthens connectivity with Southeast Asia, whereas selling Malaysia’s financial improvement and commerce with China.

UK lost £9 BILLION PER ANNUM since ‘the orange one – DJT – and his co-horts continuously spout anti sentiments, sanctions against country that helped build this railway. Tourism all over UK, the services -hotels, restaurants, etc, etc, high end spending by the Chinese from thousands of their students at universities/boarding schools from age 11 upwards and the 2 – 3 yearly visits by their parents/relatives contributed to this £9 BILLION PER ANNUM which significantly dwindled to a mere trickle. The saying ‘cutting one’s nose to spite one’s face’ come to mind or ‘shooting one’s own foot’. Some politicians pursuing course of action primarily to further/protect own careeer or for personal financial benefit causing own country fellowmen to be the greatest loser.

It is not "Malaysia-China Railway". It is "ECRL" (East Coast Rail Link). It is a Malaysian railway, not a China's railway. It connects only West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia at Port Klang in Selangor state to Kota Baru in East Coast o Peninsular Malaysia in Kelantan state.

Singapore is not the only missing piece. This train reaches Kota Bahru and does NOT go into Thailand. There is a break. There is also a break in Vientianne and as trains do not link to the China-built train in Vientianne.
The disinformation is mind boggling. How can Singapore and China sign a HSR agreement. There is no such agreement. There is none, and it's impossible as there are Malaysia, Thailand and Laos in between the 2 countries.
