“This yr marks the seventieth anniversary of the institution of diplomatic relations between Japan and Laos. To begin this memorial yr, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone visited Japan from 21 to 23 January. I’m happy to host in the present day’s martial arts demonstration as a serious occasion in Laos following Prime Minister Sonexay’s go to to Japan,” stated Koizumi Tsutomu, Ambassador of Japan to Laos, in his opening speech.
In the course of the occasion, members of the viewers have been invited to take part and be taught fundamental martial arts abilities from skilled instructors in a hands-on trial session.
“I’m satisfied that the spirit of martial arts, together with courtesy and respect for others, which might be glimpsed of their posture and each gesture, will certainly be handed on to the following era,” the ambassador concluded.
