It's clear that Google was successful after he took over as the CEO purely out of the momentum built up in the previous years. He missed out on so many opportunities and is clearly clueless – evidently his only strategy is to shout AI without any idea of how to delight users and customers with apps that are actually functional, whilst ordering different parts of the business to reduce cost with layoffs without a care of how this impacts the rest that are left.
More like they just ruined the lives of several young employees who had done nothing wrong. This company had a healthy EBITA.. this is why Americans are so angry. first of all there are too many giant companies.. monopolies! Competition is healthy for economies of scale. There’s not enough competition within business sectors. They pay off politicians (who are so obviously for sale these days) so that they aren’t tried for antitrust suits. Letting this go is one of americas largest problems. It’s why small towns are now full of suicide and drug use. All the manufacturing and jobs were taken away. Second is the cost of education.. those private universities that let you put your education on a tab but then didn’t give you a quality education. They let that happen as well. Third is the wealth gap which is a product of the past 40 years of business practices. There’s so much more. It’s just confounding

This clown has been pushing AI for the past years while severely missing out developing the platform and user experience. Layoffs should be aimed at the top of the chain not the bottom.
when did Osama bin Laden become a CEO…?????
That stupid smile while talking about layoffs. Every Indian said “nice guy, nice guy nice guy”. Littered on Reddit and Quora. Not so much of a nice guy is it after laying off 13,000 folks and taking $232M home. Would he have lost anything not taking it one year?
This guy needs to be sacked…It brought down gaint for few quarters profits..total foolish guy
He is a joker
Google and its subdivisions are greedy
Who asked them to over hire people and now fire people in tough times.
I understand your concern about AI replacing human workers and causing mass layoffs. It's a complex issue with both potential benefits and challenges. Here's my perspective on this:
*Automation and potential job displacement:* While AI can automate certain tasks, it's unlikely to completely replace the human workforce in the near future. AI excels at tasks that are repetitive, rule-based, and require high-speed processing. However, humans still outperform AI in areas like creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and complex decision-making. These "human skills" will remain crucial for many jobs.
*The bigger picture:* Instead of thinking of AI as solely replacing jobs, we should consider it as a tool that can **augment human capabilities**. By automating routine tasks, AI can free up human workers to focus on higher-level activities that require human judgment and interpersonal skills. This can lead to increased productivity, innovation, and overall economic growth.
*New job opportunities:* While some jobs might be lost due to automation, the rise of AI will also create new job opportunities. There's a growing demand for workers who can develop, maintain, and manage AI systems. Additionally, new jobs will emerge in fields that haven't even been created yet, requiring unique skillsets that combine human and AI strengths.
*The need for adaptation:* The key to navigating the changing job landscape is **adaptability**. To thrive in the future workforce, individuals may need to upskill and reskill to learn new technologies and develop complementary skills to AI. Governments and educational institutions also play a crucial role in providing resources and training programs to help workers adapt to the evolving labor market.
*Not a threat, but a potential collaborator:* I believe AI is not a threat to humans, but rather a potential collaborator. When humans and AI work together, we can achieve remarkable things. By leveraging our respective strengths, we can solve complex problems, create innovative solutions, and build a better future for all.
It's important to remember that the impact of AI on the workforce will vary across different industries and job roles. While some sectors might experience disruption, others will see new opportunities emerge. The key is to embrace change, stay informed, and adapt our skills to remain competitive in the constantly evolving world of work.
Why does he look like an apple vision avatar?

Poor people should get familiar and friendly with technology this will give immense level of success and freedom, technology is something like automobile what you want drive someone others car or want to drive your own . If your own you know the merit.
Good interview showing that he Google CEO is tech-illiterate. BtW gemini is all the best you can do? My😢 good
GEMINI is just a kid infront of CHAT gpt!
sundar should step down.
Spoken like a prefect bureaucrat with not substance and a lot of buzz word. He might be transparent with his employees but opaque with his shareholders. You have to call him the silicon valley teflon man.
This idiot should just be fired! He ruined the original spectacular Google. This mediocre Pichai just doesn't have the capability to lead Google, and most Googlers don't want to be represented by him. What a shame.
Fire all the garbage social justice warriors from within and focus on your companies core products. How about that?
Who created Google Assistant
I want to have little talk with her
An ask engine orvsearch engine named Gemini was sponsored by Google CEO sundar Pichai. Problem:: When ask engine was asked by a tester to display a modern German army on a artificial intelligence generated painting, the ask engine displayed a radical multi ethnic German army with soldiers originally from all nations. Dundar Pichaivsays he w
Oll immediately stop funding Gemini ask engine. I don't think this a is a good enoigh reason to fire Sundar Pichai from Google. Meanwhile Sundar says he eill stop funding ask engine (or search engine) Gemini very soon or within a few days.
Without communication skills how to got the job in Google tell me sir
Who the hell is even listening to this guy? Whenever a company hits that "stagnant phase" it appoints an Indian CEO. These guys are so spineless that they always put stakeholders interest above customers.. They are least bothered about the company's motto, which actually helped in expansion of the company in the first place… Vanilla Ceos(Indian Ceos)
All indians are vanilla ceos, who put stakeholders' interests before their customers, employees, and the company's motto.. Why else would you choose leaders from a third world country? If this country had brilliant leaders, it wouldn't be a third world country anymore, right?
Workers fought back for their rights and Google slapped them
Gemini ai is independent and not like perplexity or gpt which has same models..I like they built on their own instead of copying and still competent..it dint failed like Microsoft did to nokia.I believe gemini will fight gpt and perplexity within a year or so.its to early to decide
Laying him off will leave more revenue in reserve

Sundar magic is not working anymore. His prime is gone, I respect this guy but he is not capable of running google anymore. Everyone has their golden years and everything ends eventually. Sundar did wonders for Google for decades and I respect him for that but now it’s time someone else who can take firm decisions take over as a CEO. It’s time for his successor.
