Madan I think you need to do more ground work on this , I worked in coal fired poweplant designs for around 7 years , The boilers is designed to burn a coal for the particular quality (ultimate analysis) , more coordination in coal qty air qty and other parable temp are coordinated for the flame to continues inside the boiler , if there is an change in grade of coal the boiler will be failed ,It happens in 2016 in Mettur TPP due to failed analysis of coal post to that ,Mettur thermal plant where undergone so many tweaks and never runs at 100%plant loading which runs now at 60 to 70% loading . May be you need to dig more Madan to speak into this topic.
