We can speak English. We are all educated. There are very few that the food sellers and taxi drivers may not be able to speak. And we may be too kind, we may be too service minded. You should go to another country that suits you.

Been to all mentioned…lived in some for several years…Though not mentioned. I pick Thailand any day over all….Easy Visa's…cost of living is cheap. Plenty to do…Modern transportation…variety of adventures…and the food is world class….Cheers

Embrace the chaos is really the best way to describe the Philippines. That's why I'm surprised so many people go. It's best for cowboys. Like me. I love it. But most people don't have an adventuring spirit like that. Most people want amenities. In the PH that's limited to only about four cities, I would guess. You can still live a great lifestyle with all the amenities in the PH if you want, but the other countries offer better.
