Gossett spent six and a half years flying in Laos throughout the secret battle. Lee has led a lifetime of journey as a smoke jumper and clandestine pilot for the U.S. intelligence group in Asia, Central and South America, and Africa. Most of Air America’s missions in Southeast Asia had been for the Central Intelligence Company (CIA) as Air America was a CIA proprietary.

Dieter Dengler was shot down in Laos, and Ernest Brace was captured when he landed on a dirt strip.. The Pathet Lao prision camps were probably the worst? Cheers.
I was born 30 years too late! I do have about 300 hours flying a Porter though! Great stories!
