welcome to laos

Thanks. I get tired of vloggers who show the same hot spots . I found I had a smile on my face watching this video because of your interactions, the friendliness of the locals and that amazing guide. The overall vidoe is very good but in terms of time it could be 5 -10 min shorter, IMHO. Also, what camera do you use?
This man is very good at translating

Thoroughly enjoyed the full length feature! Lovely people. It's always about the people. Beautiful job, thanks for bringing us along.

I love this video, Chai!! This is how we visit these areas, getting to know the locals – just look out for the Lao Lao whisky Blow your head off Bro. The longer format is good. Loving your work

I am Cambodian American. I love Laos and Thai culture. We have similar traditions, but unique in many ways.
First time watching your channel and happy seeing you visiting real life local peoples

I like your travel adventures off the beaten track in interesting Laos

i like this video. It is very authentic and inspiring. I wanted to reach out to the local if I am able to travel there some days.
I love this longer video. Thank you for showing the local people in the village.
Very nice in Laos i will go sometimes
Fabulous video Chai – watched it from beginning to end. What a find your guide was! Make more long form content
We have travelled quite a bit in South East Asia and are currently splitting our time between Vietnam and Thailand so we will be sure to head to Laos soon.
This is an awesome video to explore Lao local. Tuktuk driver speaks good English, better than some of my English teachers.
My father lives in Phon Phisai 20KM from Mekong away, in a village like this, Thai side. You might know that Isaan people are very similar to Lao, they speak the same language, other dialect.
It remembers me the times I go to this region. We also visit quite often Lao!
Very nice, I understood some words of the ladies at the showering Karabao. Very nice video
Great job! I prefer this format myself. I love seeing the countryside and local life. The BBQ was great. Watched it beginning to end as well.
Very nice video. Need more of these kind of videos
I just love them.
Sangat mirip dengan kehidupan desa Indonesia
This video makes me smile and miss Laos a lot. I'm going back this December. I got a house in Tha Ngon 22.9 km outside of Vientiane, Laos. Thank you for making this video.
I'm from myanmar
Why did’t you speak some Thai with them
I think may be easy understand
My wife comes from the Isan region in Thailand where the people describe themselves as Lao. I would venture that the folks over the river in Laos are very similar if not the same. It certainaly looks that way as small village life in Isan is very similar to this. It's a wonderful cultural experience as a farang to be able to be part of this environment as the approach to life is very different to what westerners are accustomed to. I appreciate your efforts. It can be difficult capturing these experiences without it looking like visiting a cultural park or a zoo of some sort. Respect for the culture is paramount.
I am an ex pat Kiwi and have lived in a village10km north of Pakxan for the last decade. Your view of the Lao is very accurate. I farm a small organic block with my wife's family. If you are interested in passing on non chemical ways of dealing with pests I have some advice for you that will help
Seriously, you could make this video longer, and I would still enjoy it. I never knew that Laos is a beautiful country. I loved seeing the original slow daily life in the village, rather than the fast paced video.
