Secretary-Common of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, participated within the twenty fifth ASEAN-Republic of Korea (ROK) Summit to Commemorate the thirty fifth anniversary of Dialogue Relations, held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, at present. The Summit was attended by the ASEAN Leaders or their representatives, the President of the ROK and the Secretary-Common of ASEAN. Timor-Leste attended as Observer.
The Summit adopted a Joint Assertion on the Institution of ASEAN-ROK Complete Strategic Partnership (CSP) that’s significant, substantive and mutually helpful. The assembly additionally reviewed the achievements of ASEAN-ROK relations and mentioned its future route underneath the newly-launched CSP.
