Award-winning journalist Mech Dara, identified for his fearless investigations of human trafficking and cybercrimes in Cambodia, sits in a crowded jail cell, his spirit unbroken.
A buddy visited Dara, 36, at Kandal Provincial Jail, 10 kilometers from Phnom Penh, bringing him meals, garments and drugs.
The buddy, who spoke on situation of anonymity for security causes, stated Dara remained in excessive spirits and was grateful for the help from his pals and the general public.
