In Thailand they smile a lot but the smiles are fake, they are reconstructed, but in Vietnam when we smile it's real and natural. Our smiles are true
Anyone that likes a place because of a ‘good’ ex-pat community should ask themselves why they are travelling. In my experience, most locals don’t like ex-pat communities. Also there’s many people that like ex-pat communities but have an issue when one pops up in their country – then the xenophobia starts.
Thomas was so informative and a pleasure to listen to.
As an American, I struggle with understanding Australian
Just come across your channel mate great stuff 👍
Stay away from Danang during rainy season could be very dangerous
The biggest negative is that ist now full of obnoxious Americans. Another destination you can kiss goodbye.
When Americans and Europeans talk good sides of staying in South East Asia, it reflects on how unkind, expensive, and mundane life is at their home countries. Strange.
Thank you for your time and posting. Negatives + 'not so positives'. 🙂 Interestingly, the first lady talked about "them" bridging the gap in language. Yet, I'm betting she can't speak any Vietnamese.
visit the other parts of the country da nang is such a small part of the country
Asking the Russian “why did you move here?” 🤣🤣🤣
Just got back spent 3 months didn't like it felt trapped to hot traffic is insane
Stay for 3 months and then see if you like it to many rules
Its the second russia forsure
I love the 1st lady, she's so positive and open-minded with insight
I’ve seen two of your vids so far and find them very interesting. Thank you!
typical germans lol
Gentleman at 4:20 was so wholesome 🙂
Tuyệt vời
"Whoever is bigger, makes the rules" this is an unfortunate statement from an American, but true.
Size does matter – or the size of your military budget, at least . . . .
Yes another video please
Thanks for sharing your video in Da Nang Vietnam
We just came back from Vietnam. Other than being hot, the people are amazing. We felt safe and the food was awesome. There is so much to explore in Vietnam. We definitely want to go back.
Hoping to go to Vietnam in September ish. I've been to Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia many times but never managed to get to Laos or Vietnam. It's all Southeast Asia man, it's all great!!!
Nice job on the video. Straightforward journalistic approach that transfers a lot of information.
Nice video! ❤️ Da Nang is really safe, clean, wonderful. I enjoyed as well vlogging in Da Nang! 🙂🙂🙂
DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON YOUTUBE !!! WE HEARD GREAT THINGS ABOUT TAIWAN ON MANY YOUTUBE CHANNELS SO WE WENT FOR 3 MONTHS (FRIENDLY, POLITE PEOPLE ETC) But the TAIWANESE PEOPLE WERE RUDE, ARROGANT & COLD !!! I'll say it again… DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON YOUTUBE. FACT !!!!
Guy with the hat is living is best life. Life goals
Unfortunately Da Nang is overrun by Russians
Great video! I loved Da Nang (been there for a month and probably will comeback in near future). The guy starting at 4:19 seems like a great man to talk with!
how does one obtain a long term residency?
Love Da Nang, people are friendly, has a good vibe and there are so many options for food. The only negative part was, I found the beach overcrowded after 4pm.
Honestly beside the rip-off sea-food night market next to the dragon brigde I didn't noticed any street food vendors in DaNang, like i know them from Thailand. Maybe i stayed in the wrong area 🤔. The beachfront is clean and spacious
He needs information on what money is needed and taken
I was in Danang 10 days as a solo traveler and i wont go back there..nothing is bad but when comparing to Thailand or Philippines it´s just boring..most of the city are massage parlors and restaurants, as a family or as a couple it can be nice for sure but i honestly didn´t know what to do much in the evenings..dating in short term is almost impossible, sitting alone in bars and restaurants is not too much fun either after a while, i even enjoyed Malaysia much more, Vietnam just has a heaviness that other south east Asian countries dont habe imo
Great video my friend. 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks for sharing your time with us. Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico. 🇲🇽🥰✌🏼
Thailand is my favorite but Vietnam def. good to mix it up !
I've been living in Indonesia for over 5 years. That said, I am in the process of planning a 3 to 4 month trip touring the northern part of Thailand, Loas, Central Vietnam, and Cambodia. My travels will start in late October when I fly over to Bangkok for a few days. I plan to spend 3 to 4 weeks in Da Nang and Hoi An from mid-December to mid-January. Is this a good time to be in that part of the country during this time frame?
Great interviews! I will be in Da Nang in November.🎉
so I am currently living in europe, one bedroom studio apartment, and my costs amount to this:
158 – rent / monthly
30 – internet (1 terrabyte optical internet, unlimited)
30 – electricity
230 – food (i never cook at home, so basically everyday I order food or eat out)
210.28 – beer (yah… a bit too much on this)
that's a total of 658 euros per month.
Could I live for half that in Da Nang with the same lifestyle?
