Laos-Vietnam continues to develop cooperation within the subject of science and know-how between the Council of Science and Expertise of the Republic of Vietnam and the Ministry of Expertise and Communication of the Lao PDR, agreeing to encourage the completion of the mission “Development of a catastrophe info and communication middle (earthquake) for the Lao PDR” on the premise of a joint laboratory between the Ministry of Expertise and Communication of Laos and the Council of Science and Expertise of Vietnam and others.
The Ministry of Expertise and Communication (MOTC) organized a bilateral assembly between Laos and Vietnam on August 5, 2024 in Vientiane, co-chaired by Mr. Novieng Kham Vongdala, Minister of Expertise and Communication of the Lao PDR and Mr. Chao Van Ming, President of the Council of Science and Expertise of the Republic of Vietnam together with delegations from each side.
